Grandma's Secret Recipe Book
This is one of the most meaningful things you can do together. And it starts in the kitchen
TWEENS (11 - 14 YEARS)

Every family has recipes that exist nowhere but in someone's memory. A pinch of this, a handful of that, baked until it looks right. This activity is about capturing those recipes before they're lost forever - cooking them together, writing them down properly, adding photos and creating a book that will be treasured for generations.
This is one of the most meaningful things you can do together. And it starts in the kitchen.
Why This Works
For tweens, this activity connects them to their family history in a tangible, delicious way. For grandparents, it's an incredibly moving experience to have a grandchild genuinely interested in their recipes and stories. The recipe book that results is not just a cookbook - it's a family heirloom.
